The Christmas Church & Community Choir

This choir aims to bring people from across the community together around the joy of singing Christmas carols together!

When do we meet?

We meet every Sunday 4-6 pm at St. Mary's Church.

What do bring?

A bottle of water, a pencil and (if you have been given your folder) your folder.

Where will we be performing?

We currently have a number of different services across the week of Christmas. Everyone is welcome to sing at all these services but we would most love people to sing at two services. Carols by Candle Light and Nine Lessons & Carols.

  • Silent Night - 9 Lessons

  • O Come O Come Emmanuel - 9 Lessons

  • Once in Royal David’s City - Both

  • O Little Town - Candlelight

  • Mary did you know - Candlelight

  • It Came Upon a Midnight Clear- 9 Lessons

  • In the Bleak Midwinter - 9 Lessons

  • Hark The herald Angels Sing- Both

How good a singer do I have to be?

Our choir is all about the fun that we can have together! We don't require everyone to be able to sing really well but it would be awesome if you are able to carry a tune. We will all be in it together and will have a lot of fun no matter what.

If you are able to sing a particular part of the harmony just let Revd Tom know when you start with the choir.
