Photography and Video at St Mary's Church

We love sharing the life of our church community and celebrating what God is doing among us. From time to time, photographs and short videos may be taken during our services, worship, baptisms, special events, and other church activities.

These images may be used by St Mary's Church for both internal and external purposes, including:

• Our website

• Social media channels

• Church newsletters and magazines

• Noticeboards and displays within the church

• Printed publicity and promotional materials

• Reports and communications about the life of the church

We understand that not everyone wishes to be photographed or filmed.

If you do not want your photograph or video to be used, please let us know by either:

• Speaking to a member of the clergy, churchwardens, or welcome team before or after the service; or

• Updating your communication and photography preferences in ChurchSuite.

We will always do our best to respect your wishes and ensure that photographers and church staff are aware of your preference.

Parents and guardians are responsible for setting photography preferences on behalf of children under the age of 18 through ChurchSuite or by speaking to a member of the church team.
