The Walsgrave is all about celebrating the people, places, stories and events that make our local community special.
Whether it's sharing local news, telling an interesting story, celebrating an achievement, promoting a community group or supporting a local business, we want The Walsgrave to be something everyone can be part of.

We're always looking for interesting articles, local stories, personal experiences, photographs and contributions from people in our community.
You don't need to be a professional writer. Whether you're part of a local group, have an interesting hobby, want to celebrate a community achievement or simply have something worth sharing, we'd love to hear from you.
A few things to remember when submitting an article:
Articles should be approximately 150 words.
Please include at least two good-quality photographs to accompany your article.
Tell us the name of the author.
Please include a photograph of the author too, so readers can put a face to the name!
Missed the deadline? Don't worry!
We can accept articles up to a year in advance. For example, if it's winter and you've missed the deadline for the current winter edition, we can still accept your article for next winter's magazine.
There's always another opportunity to share your story!

The Walsgrave is a great way to get your business, organisation or service in front of local people.
By advertising with us, you're not only raising awareness of what you offer but also helping us produce a magazine that celebrates and connects our community.
